Planning and Presenting Tools

The Realize planning and presenting tools are designed to help teachers streamline lesson planning and customization. A Teacher Assistant Panel offers support at point-of-use. This is complemented by a convenient Slide Sorter View that allows for rearranging or hiding content and customizing assessments to create the perfect lesson. An innovative Presenter Mode provides flexibility with separating behind-the-scenes information from front-of-class content intended for students.

Teacher Assistant Panel

The Teacher Assistant Panel is an expandable/collapsable panel which includes important teacher supports including:

  • Teacher Guidance - Includes all that rich guidance that you find in print Teacher Editions, at point of use.

  • Differentiation - Includes ideas to help make instruction accessible to all students in the classroom.

  • Teacher Resources - Provides valuable material you can use to enrich the content, including answer keys for assessments and other information for teachers.

  • Standards - Provides standard correlations at point of use reference.

    You will see different sections depending on the content item you have selected.

Do any one of the following:

  1. On the Home page, select "Browse" from the top menu.

  2. Choose the desired Program from the tiles displayed.

    Alternatively,

    On the Dashboard, select the desired Program from the "My Programs" list on the right pane.

    Or,

    On the Dashboard, within the Class widget, select the Program icon (drop-down button) to select the Program.

    The Teacher's Plan page appears.

  3. From the Table of Contents on the left pane, select a node that includes a lesson view.

    The Teacher Assistant Panel, along with various icons, appear on the right pane.

  4. Select the Teacher Guidance, Differentiation, Teacher Resources or Standards icons to expand and display, select each section to view and perform additional functions.

  5. Select the button on the top right of the pane to open the section in a new tab in the browser.

  6. Select Close "X" button, beside new tab button to collapse the Teacher Assistant Panel section.

 

  • Teachers will have access to all the aforementioned options.

  • Students will not see a side panel but have the access to view associated standards.

  • The Teacher Assistant Panel icons, will by default open when fitting for the device size.

  • Teacher Resources can be expanded into their own tab.
