Assessments by Program

This dashboard provides an overview of students' performance on one program's diagnostic assessments. The visualizations also give a breakdown of performance by domain for all diagnostic assessments. Use the toggle above the scale score legend to view the results of the different diagnostic assessments. For eligible assessment visualizations, select the donut or bar chart to look at class and student level data. Similarly, In the Scale Scores by Schools visualizations, selecting the bar charts will also display class and student level data.

Please note that for now, there is no ability to show student-level details for the domain-specific visualizations.

In accordance with the intended use of screener and diagnostic assessments, these visualizations report only on the first submission of a screener and diagnostic per program per student for the school year. To access data from subsequent submissions, Assessment Scores report to access all Screener data, or the Multi-Stage Diagnostic report to access all Diagnostic data.

Dashboard Charts

The following summaries are available in the Assessment by Program dashboard:

• Overall Average Scores: This visualization provides the overall average scale score for diagnostic assessments as well as the scale score breakdown of student performance. Select the Average Scale Score bar chart to open the Student Details report to show student-level data for the students who contributed to the data point. Select a segment of the Overall Student Performance Levels donut chart to open the Student Details report to show student-level data for that segment.

• Average Scale Scores by Domains: Review the breakdown of performance by domain for diagnostic assessments for a given program.

• Scale Scores by Schools: Review schools' average scale scores on a program’s diagnostic assessments. Results are also segmented by domain for each school; use the toggle to view the domain breakdown. Color represents the performance-band classification for the average scale score and the length of the bar in relation to the Meets range (gray area) identifies if students' scores are below, within, or above the Meets range for the diagnostic assessment. Average scale scores can also be reviewed across all schools for a particular domain on by selecting the domain from the drop-down menu. Select a bar chart to open the Student Details report to show student-level data for the students who contributed to that data point.
