Growth Summary

The Growth Summary summary provides an overview of district-level Diagnostic performance over time.

In accordance with the intended use of Diagnostic Assessments, these visualizations report only on the first submission of a diagnostic per program per student at the Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY) and End of Year (EOY) for the school year. To access data from subsequent submissions, you can use the Momentum Diagnostic Assessment Details report.

Summary Chart

Growth by Grade: This visualization displays the grade-level average scale score at the Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY) and End of Year (EOY) for a subject. When hovering over an assessment you will see the performance breakdown including the number and percentage of students that scored within each of the performance ranges. Select a bar in the chart to open the Student Details report to see student-level data for the students who contributed to that data point.

Administrators with access to Momentum Diagnostic Assessments enhanced with Quantile or Lexile® measures can use the Measurement option in the filter area at the top of the summary to view the results in Quantile or Lexile measures rather than Momentum scale scores. When viewing results in Quantile or Lexile measures, Momentum performance bands are replaced by the national percentile rank indicated by the Quantile or Lexile measure.
