Areas For Growth Report
The Areas For Growth report displays the Math and Reading skills that are identified as potential areas of development for the selected students. The report groups students by these skills to allow teachers to determine which students require assistance and/or intervention.

The Areas For Growth report is available for both Default and Custom by Settings assignments.

Students who are in Initial Placement are not included in this report.
Run the Report

After login, press View Reports > SuccessMaker Reports, then select Areas For Growth report

In SAVED REPORT OPTIONS, you can select a saved report option from the previously saved list.

In the ORGANIZATIONS section, select an organization from the list of available options

In the COURSE SELECTION section, do the following:

In the Subject drop-down list, choose Math or Reading, to run reports for Math or Reading assignments.

In the Courses drop-down list, select the course(s) you want to include in the report, or choose SELECT ALL for all courses.

In the Filter and Display Options section, optionally do one or more of the following:

Teacher: Select one or more teachers assigned for the course. Based on the school selection the associated teachers will be displayed in this section. The name of the school will be mentioned after the teacher name to identify the teacher-school association. You can also search for a teacher in the Search teachers box and filter your results.

Grade: Select one or more grade levels.

Group Name: Select one or more groups of students. Based on the schools selection the associated groups will be displayed and the school name will be displayed. You can also search for a group in the Search groups box and filter your results.

Sub-Grouping: Choose how the information is grouped in the report.

Display Options: Select how the student is identified in the Student column of the report.

Student Name

Student Username.

Select the Mask Student Display box to hide the student names.

In the Sort drop-down list, select how you would want the information to be sorted.

In the Dates at risk drop-down list, select the period of student history data to display in the report.

Further filter by Student Demographics:

Disability Status: Select disability status filters.

Ethnicity: Select ethnicity filters.
-
Race: Select race filters.
-
Socioeconomic Status: Select socioeconomic status filters.

English Language Proficiency: Select English proficiency filters.

Migrant Status: Select migrant status filters.
-
Special Services: Select Special Services Program filters.

Select Save Report Options to save your selection for the next time you run the report, and then do one of the following:

In the Name and save this new custom report configuration text box, type a unique name for your report options, and then select Save.

You can Select an existing custom report configuration to be replaced/updated, and then select Save.

Optionally, select Reset to revert any changes made to the default selections made in the form.

Select Run Report. Your report opens in a new window/tab.

Use the CSV button in the top right of your browser window to export the report, if desired. See Getting Started with Reports for more information about exporting.
Read the Report Data
You can run the report with the default settings or you can select options to customize the report. See Areas of Difficulty Report Results for descriptions of the report fields.

Course Name | Name of the selected course. |
Report Run | Date and time the report was generated reflects the district’s time zone. |
School | Name of school. |
Teacher | Teacher's name. |
Grade | Grade level. |
Group | Name of group. |
Selected Options | Provides a summary of the report options selected for this report. |

Student | Student's first and last name, and either the student ID or the user name based on the option selected in the Report Options. |
Date at Risk | Date when the Reading skill was evaluated as At Risk or the Math skill was assessed as Not Mastered. In Reading, as the student progresses in the course, the skill level can fluctuate between At Risk and Mastered. |
Targeted Lesson | When assignments align with a Targeted Math and Reading Lesson, you can select the file name link to open the PDF in a new browser tab for that lesson. |
