Realize Reader Assignments

Savvas Realize Reader gives you access to digital textbooks and assignments in an engaging, interactive learning environment. Realize Reader content can also include video, interactive charts, graphs, drag-and-drop activities, and a notebook service, in addition to basic features, such as annotations, highlights, and bookmarks.

You can access your Realize Reader content through Realize or on the go using the Realize Reader offline app. When using the offline app, most content can be downloaded for offline use. Once the content is downloaded, you can read a book or complete your activities anywhere with or without an Internet connection. There are two types of Realize Reader assignments you can assign to your students:

Realize Reader Selection Realize Reader Selection (RRS) assignments open directly in Realize and focus on the specific text and features required to complete the assigned activities. — Opens directly in Realize and focuses on the specific text and features required to complete the assigned activities. RRS content displays a small open book symbol to the left of the activity name in the Table of Contents.

Realize Reader Selected Reading Realize Reader Selected Reading (RRSR) opens in a new window that displays the entire book and enables the completion of the activities using the full set of Realize Reader tools and navigation features. — Opens in a new window that displays the entire text and enables the completion of the assigned activities using the full set of Realize Reader tools and navigation features.
