Dates Filter Options

The FILTERS feature enables you to customize your view of the dashboard and reports data with the Dates filter options being your first and most important query selections.

Since Realize Reports pulls some data nightly, reports you run today may only include data up through the previous day.

Enter a number that represents the amount of time for the filter, and then select a unit of time:

  • days—includes today; however, since some of the data is pulled nightly, it may not include data for the current day. For example, if you choose 3 days on Monday, the report will include data from Saturday and Sunday.
  • weeks—includes the current week. For example, if you choose 2 weeks on a Tuesday, the report will include data for the previous week (Monday through Sunday) and Monday only of the current week.
  • months—includes the current month. For example, if you choose 1 month on the 12th of the month, the report will include data from the 1st through the 11th of the current month.
  • quarters—includes the current quarter. Quarters are based on the calendar year (January–March; April–June; July–September; October–December). For example, if you choose 3 quarters in February, the report will include data from the previous year’s July–September and October–December quarters as well as January through the day prior to the date the report was run.
  • years—includes the current year. Years are based on the calendar year. For example, if you choose 2 years in March, the report will include data from the previous year as well as data from January through the day prior to the date the report was run.
  • complete days—includes the last complete day (yesterday). Since some data is pulled nightly, it may not include all data from the last day. For example, if you choose 3 complete days on a Monday, the report will include data from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • complete weeks—includes the last complete week (Monday through Sunday). For example, if you choose 2 complete weeks on a Tuesday, the report will include data for the previous two complete weeks (Monday through Sunday).
  • complete months—includes the last complete month. For example, if you choose 1 complete month any day in February, the report will include data for the month of January.
  • complete quarters—includes the last complete quarter. Quarters are based on the calendar year (January–March; April–June; July–September; October–December). For example, if you choose 3 complete quarters in February, the report will include data from the previous year’s April–June; July–September; and October–December quarters.
  • complete years—includes the last complete year. Years are based on the calendar year. For example, if you choose 2 complete years in March, the report will include data from the previous two years.
