Student Performance Report

The Student Performance Report (SPR) provides detailed information about student performance and progress in a course. The report includes cumulative and recent performance information in both Math and Reading, Initial Placement performance information, and it identifies specific areas for growth in a course.

The Student Performance report is available for both Default and Custom by Settings assignments.

Run the Report

  1. After login, select View Reports > SuccessMaker Reports, then select Student Performance report.

  2. Select the Teacher Report tab.

  3. In the SAVED REPORT OPTIONS, you can select a saved report option from the previously saved list.

  4. In the Organizations Section, select an organization from the list of available options.
  5. In the COURSE SELECTION section, do the following:

    • In the Subject drop-down list, choose Math or Reading, to run reports for Math or Reading assignments.

    • In the Courses drop-down list, select the course(s) you want to include in the report, or choose SELECT ALL for all courses.

  6. In the Filter and Display Options section, optionally do one or more of the following:

    • Teacher: Select one or more teachers assigned for the course. Based on the school selection the associated teachers will be displayed in this section. The name of the school will be mentioned after the teacher name to identify the teacher and school association. You can also search for a teacher in the Search teachers box and filter your results.

    • Grade: Select one or more grade levels.

    • Group Name: Select one or more groups of students. Based on the schools selection the associated groups will be displayed and the school name will be displayed. You can also search for a group in the Search groups box and filter your results.

    • Display Options:Select how the student is identified in the Student column of the report.

      • Student Name

      • Student ID

      • Student Username

    • Select the Mask Student Display box to hide the student names.

    • Include Performance Summary: Select Yes to display or No to hide the Performance Summary.
    • Include Performance By Strand: Select Yes to display or No to hide Performance by Strand.

    • Include Areas For Growth: Select Yes to display or No to hide Areas For Growth.

    • Dates at Risk: Select the period of student history data to display in the report.

    • Language: Select English or Spanish.

    • Further filter by Student Demographics:

      • Disability Status: Select disability status filters.

      • Ethnicity: Select ethnicity filters.

      • Race: Select race filters.

      • Socioeconomic Status: Select socioeconomic status filters

      • English Language Proficiency: Select English proficiency filters.

      • Migrant Status: Select migrant status filters.

      • Special Services: Select Special Services Program filters

  7. Select Save Report Options to save your selection for the next time you run the report, and then do one of the following:

    • In the Name and save this new custom report configuration text box, type a unique name for your report options, and then select Save.

    • You can Select an existing custom report configuration to be replaced/updated, and then select Save.

  8. Optionally, select Reset to revert any changes made to the default selections made in the form.

  9. Select Run Report. Your report opens in a new window or tab.

  10. Use the PDF or CSV export buttons in the top right of your browser window to export the report if desired. See Getting Started with Reports for more information about exporting.

Report Options

Family Report

The Student Performance Report offers a Family Report to share with families during a conference, IEP/504 meeting, and/or for report cards.

This report includes:

  • A visualization on the Math and Reading report that shows, for the student’s grade level, where they fall in their mastery on the score continuum in the respective subject and includes a legend that provides clarity about how to interpret the results

  • A simplified Performance Summary section with a graphic visualization for the student’s Math and Reading report that shows their course level progression (Growth) over time in the respective subject

  • A Math Performance by Strand graphic

  • A Math Mastery Detail Section

  • A Reading Mastery Graphic

  • A Reading Performance by Strand Detail section for the Reading report

  • A Student performance Family Version report in Spanish
