Course Skills

A Skills table displays when viewing the details for a course, or when creating a custom course based on Skills.

View Skills for a Course

When viewing course details, use the column on the left to select a strand.

Select the child objects in the center panel to expand the hierarchy of concepts, skills, and learning objects for selected strand.
Select a file-name link to preview a learning object or Print Partner PDF.

Select Skills for a Course

When creating a custom course, in the Skills dialog box, first select a skills framework, and then a grade level for the course. The strands for the selected grade level display in the left panel.

Select a strand in the left panel to view the child objects for the strand.
Use the strand toggles to select a strand for the course. By default, all child objects for the strand are then selected.
Select objects in the center panel to expand the hierarchy of concepts, skills and learning objects for selected strand.
Use the toggles in the center panel to select or remove associated child objects.
When you are happy with your skills selections, select Create.
