SuccessMaker Prescriptive Scheduling Report
Are you curious to see if your students are on track for end-of-year testing? The Prescriptive Scheduling Report makes it easy to monitor progress and ensure students are meeting their goals. Check out the step by step directions below:
SuccessMaker Prescriptive Scheduling Report
The Prescriptive Scheduling Report helps track student progress and adjust schedules to meet performance goals. By setting a timeframe and target level, the report forecasts students’ progress and calculates the extra time needed to reach targets. Ensure students have completed at least 7 hours in SuccessMaker post-Initial Placement for accurate predictions.

Custom Courses
In SuccessMaker, teachers are encouraged to use the Full Course option. Before getting started, it’s helpful to update the program settings (no new custom course needs to be created) to best meet students’ needs. Here, you can adjust session length, select a student’s native language, and choose which tools to enable or disable.
Did you know you can also create Custom Courses to complement the Full Course? These personalized learning paths allow teachers to target specific skills, provide additional practice on particular standards, or align instruction with other Savvas programs—such as enVision Mathematics and myView.
SuccessMaker Full Course
Before creating and assigning Custom Courses in SuccessMaker, it’s important to first use the Full Course with fidelity for at least three months. The Full Course includes an initial placement process to determine each student’s functional learning level, allowing them to work within their zone of proximal development. Adaptive motion is built into both Reading and Math, ensuring personalized learning paths. It’s important to note any Custom Course you create will be shared and visible across the entire school, so please exercise caution when creating.
Using Custom Courses vs. Full Course
Custom Courses by Settings
In SuccessMaker, the Custom Course by Setting option maintains adaptive motion, allowing students to stay on their personalized learning pathways. In SuccessMaker, a Custom Course by Settings is possible when Initial Placement (IP) is disabled (to manually select a starting course level) or when you need to duplicate an existing course’s settings to make minor adjustments to a specific course.

Custom Courses by Skill and Standard
In SuccessMaker, Custom Courses by Skill and Standard allow students to engage with grade-level content and receive scaffolded support as needed. The program also provides targeted practice on specific skills or standards. There is no diagnostic placement at the start.

Targeted Lessons
SuccessMaker offers targeted lessons through both adaptive, personalized online instruction and supplemental, printable lessons. The adaptive online components tailor content to each student’s real-time performance, while the printable materials offer teacher resources for small groups or 1:1 intervention when a specific skill gap is identified, supported by Areas for Growth Report. Targeted Lessons are available at mysavvastraining.com. Please note: when you click on the “Targeted Print Lessons,” the site will direct you to a course enrollment page. You do not need to take the course- simply enrolling grants you access to the lesson documents.
