Report Filters
Report FILTERS enable you to customize your view of the data by selecting a variety of filter values that are automatically saved for the next time you run the report. You can also save unique sets of filter settings for future use.
To optimize your data results:
Always choose the filter options starting with Dates values at the top of the FILTERS panel and moving down through the levels of subsequent options. Each of your selections determines the filter values that will be available to you in the following level.
For example, when there is data available within your selected Dates values, the Schools values only display the schools with data in that date range. If the selected date range has no data, the reports will be empty.
If you change your filter selections, start at the top of the FILTERS panel and move down through the subsequent levels. At each filter level, remove your old selections and make your new selections from the new values presented to you.
-
For some filter options you can add additional selections within the same filter. For example, to include assessment scores for the Reading Street Common Core program or the Interactive Science program, in the Program filter box, select Reading Street Common Core, and then select Interactive Science. This returns results, if applicable, for both programs.
-
For some filter options you can add filters with varying filter expressions by clicking the + add button to the right of the filter. For example, you could add a criteria to the Schools filter to include Chicago in the name and add another to exclude City in the name to narrow the results. The statement is added as an "AND" or "OR" based on the selected filter expressions.
-
For "AND" statements, all criteria must be met.
-
For "OR" statements, either can be met.
-
