Create a Group of Students

You can create groups of students within your classes, and then assign content to your students by group.

  1. Click Classes on the top menu bar, then select the class.
  2. Click Students & Groups on the left.
  3. Click the Groups tab.
  4. Click Create group.

    You cannot create groups in Realize for classes that were imported from Google Classroom™.

  5. Type the name your group.
  6. Click Add next to any students you want to add, or type the student's last name followed by a comma (last name, first name), then the student's first name into the Add students box.
  7. Click Create group.

You must have at least one student in the group to create it.
