Assignment by Class - Features
When you click the 3-dot context menu in an assignment under Assignment by Class tab, you can see the following menu options:
The links available depend on the type and status of the assignment.
- View Data: View an assessment report for the assignment.
- Information: Open the Information module, which includes the assignment start date, due date, and instructions.
- Edit: Change the title, due date, instructions, or add a class, group, or student to the assignment
- Share Link: Open a modal with a link to the assignment that you can copy and share (Note: This is not available for LTIA assignments).
- Hide: Archive the assignment.
- Standards—View Standards associated with Content.
Other features of the assignment page include the following:
Just below the assignment name you'll find the following:
- Assignment Start date and Due date.
- Average score for all students with a scored assignment.
You can review the Status column to see:
A Status column indicates each student's assignment status: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.
- Review the Overall Score column to see each student's overall score for the assignment.
- Overall Score is calculated by taking the average of scored items.
- For some assignments, you can click Score to manually change the Overall Score for one or more students.
- Review the student's comments or enter a comment the student can view in Comments.
- Use the options in the Assigned work section to review and score Completed assignments, or review activity progress for Completed or In Progress assignments.
- If the student attached a file, click the paper clip icon to download the attachment.
Click the left arrow next to the assignment name to return to the Assignments by class tab.
