Assignment by Class - Features

When you select the 3-dot context menu in an assignment under Assignment by Class tab, you can see the following menu options:

The links available depend on the type and status of the assignment.

  • View Data: View an assessment report for the assignment.
  • Information: Open the Information module, which includes the assignment start date, due date, and instructions.
  • Edit: Change the title, due date, instructions, or add a class, group, or student to the assignment
  • Share Link: Open a modal with a link to the assignment that you can copy and share (Note: This is not available for LTIA assignments).
  • Hide: Archive the assignment.
  • Standards—View Standards associated with Content.

Other features of the assignment page include the following:

Just below the assignment name you'll find the following:

  • Assignment Start date and Due date.
  • Average score for all students with a scored assignment.

You can review the Status column to see:

A Status column indicates each student's assignment status: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.

  • Review the Overall Score column to see each student's overall score for the assignment.
    • Overall Score is calculated by taking the average of scored items.
    • For some assignments, you can select Score to manually change the Overall Score for one or more students.
  • In the assignment detail view, you can:
    • Review the student's comments or enter a comment the student can view in Comments.
    • Use the options in the Assigned work section to review and score Completed assignments, or review activity progress for Completed or In Progress assignments.
    • If the student attached a file, select the paper clip icon to download the attachment.

    • Select the left arrow next to the assignment name to return to the Assignments by class tab.
